Caitlin Murphy, founder of Global Gateway Logistics, is a proud Tory Burch Fellow and Empowered Women nominee. Beginning her career in global trade, Murphy recognized gaps in customer service, technology and diversity within the logistics industry. In response, she launched her own company in 2017 to reinvent the global shipping process. Murphy consistently champions change in her industry and aims to inspire women, especially working mothers, to confidently pursue leadership roles.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, she pivoted her operations to source and distribute PPE, overcoming challenges like inflated air freight shipping costs and regulatory hurdles. Murphy’s efforts delivered more than two million masks to healthcare facilities, and her Gateway for Good program donated masks to vulnerable groups.
